Photography and travel have been my passion for a long time now and ‘back in the day’ I thought to myself how could I combine the two? The answer was a slightly unconventional one but after serving in Her Majesty’s Royal Navy I can say that I chose a fun and adventurous career path! After completing my training at the world renowned Defence School of Photography with Distinction I served in locations around the world – from Oz to Egypt, South America to Singapore, India to the Caribbean (and a few less hospitable places in between!) providing coverage to the world at large – culminating in receiving the ultimate accolade of RN PR Photographer Of The Year.
I had a great time in the Navy but I decided to take my imagery into a new direction a few years ago and now successfully run Luis Holden Photography with Sarah from our Norfolk premises, close to Norwich. We have a little girl - Amelie - who tries to help out but there is only so much a toddler can do!
Wedding and Lifestyle portraiture allows me to be creative and do what I love to do best – photographing people! You can’t beat seeing the joy that a beautiful photograph can provide for somebody – and all this from a job I admit that I love doing.
